The great and good of the Northern Ireland property industry came together yesterday for a glittering celebration at the 2015 Belfast Telegraph Property Awards in association with propertynews.com.

Hundreds of people from across the industry attended our gala event to toast the success of our finalists and winners who were honoured for their outstanding work. Wendy Austin hosted the ceremony in the Culloden Hotel where guests enjoyed a five-course meal followed by hilarious entertainment by top Irish comedian Neil Delamere.

Local estate agents, architects, interior designers, builders and fit-out specialists were among the many whose stellar work came under the spotlight in 10 hotly contested categories.

Welcoming everyone to the event, Belfast Telegraph Editor Gail Walker said: "It's great that our Property Awards are back after a seven-year break.

"It's a sign of growing confidence in the market again and of a return to a more positive time.

"It's also wonderful to get the chance to acknowledge the growth, talent and success in the industry here."

The award for Commercial Fit-Out of the Year went to Martin & Hamilton Ltd, for its work on Great Hall at Galgorm Resort & Spa.

The Best Interior Design award was won by Belfast designer Kris Turnbull for his work on the Royal Wharf development in London's East End.

And winner of our Commercial Architect Practice of the Year award, sponsored by MAC Interiors, was White Ink Architects of Belfast.

Picking up the gong for Residential Architectural Practice of the Year was Holywood-based Des Ewing Residential Architects .

The award for Residential Estate Agency of the Year, sponsored by Progressive Building Society, was presented to Simon Brien Residential.

The title of Young Agent of the Year, sponsored by propertynews.com, was awarded to Stephanie Patterson of Rea Estates.
