Northern Ireland's Top 100 Companies 2011
It’s business as usual for Northern Ireland’s Top 100
A very warm welcome to the Belfast Telegraph Northern Ireland’s Top 100 Companies magazine.
Providing solid foundations for local businesses
Much of the past year — both pre and post general election — was characterised by the prospect of austerity cuts and how to stimulate economic recovery. The relative merits and drawbacks of precisely when and where and how much to cut have been debated at length.
Green shoots of recovery are slow to emerge
In the spring of 2010 the assessment made from the previous edition of the Top 100 businesses was that the economy was displaying some ‘green shoots’ of recovery but that there were only tentative signs of economic growth. The hope was that during 2010 there would be a strengthening recovery.
Unleashing the power of NI’s private sector
Today Northern Ireland’s economic future is at a critical tipping point. A push in the right direction and the region will flourish, a tip in the wrong direction and the region could face severe economic challenges and continued uncertainty.
