Ards Holdings is the parent company for the wellestablished construction company, Gilbert-Ash, and the financial results are heavily influenced by the trading performance of the subsidiary.

Among the company’s high profile past contracts were the Odyssey complex, Victoria Square shopping centre, the regeneration of the Ulster Hospital and the Lyric Theatre.

The company currently operates extensively throughout the UK and has satellite offices in Peterborough and Edinburgh. The firm is responsible for the construction of the new Giant’s Causeway Visitors Centre in NI and has recently been awarded the contract for the new Everyman Theatre in Liverpool.

An associated company Gilbert-Ash Fitout Limited, is responsible for smaller building projects including maintenance, refurbishment and shopfitting, which it undertakes in the UK, Europe, Asia and as far afield as Australia.
