Teleperformance is a provider of outsourced call centre services.
The Group operates about 98,000 computerized workstations, with more than 130,000 employees across 255 contact centers in 49 countries and conducts programs in more than 66 different languages and dialects on behalf of major international companies operating in various industries. It has turnover revenue of around £170 billion a year on a global basis.
In Northern Ireland the company has been in operation for over 12 years, initially based at Bangor and more recently at Newry.
Throughout 2012 Teleperformance have employed on average over 2,000 staff supporting a wide range of clients from within both public and private sectors. That’s over 500 more than the previous year. Turnover is up £7m while profits have jumped by £2.5m.
