Firstsource Solutions started operations in Northern Ireland in 2006 and has contact centres in Derry and Belfast.

The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Indian-owned business process outsourcing company Firstsource Solutions, which employs over 29,000 people in 44 centres in India, the US, UK, Argentina and the Philippines.

The firm provides business process management to clients in industries including telecomms, media and healthcare.

The company has been a major recipient of Invest NI grants to bring employment to the Northwest.

Firstsource is an Investor in People, and last year won a Business in the Community Big Tick Award for its programme of recruitment of long-term unemployed people. In the last 12 months,

Firstsource in the UK has donated over £10,000 through fund raising for a wide variety of local, national and international charities, with high employee participation in social initiatives.
