Founded more than 100 years ago, Fane Valley has business operations in milk processing, red meat processing, oat milling, animal feed manufacturing, agri-retailing and renewable energy. It remains wholly owned by its 1,800 farmer members.

The business continues to grow through a combination of organic growth and targeted acquisitions. During 2010 it completed an £18m investment in a new animal feed mill on the outskirts of Omagh and a £10m investment in a red meat processing facility at its Linden Foods site in Dungannon.

Brands include Whites, Kettyle Irish Foods, Linden, Lonhienne, Hilton Meats, Fane Valley Feeds and Fane Valley Dairies.

During 2012 employment grew by 132, turnover was up £60m and profit climbed £3.5m
