Established in 1970, Ballyvesey Holdings Ltd is a privately owned group, which has its main interests in road transport, trailer manufacturing, vehicle and construction equipment sales and rental, recycling and supportive services to the road transport industry.

Among the companies making up the group are Montgomery Transport, JE Coulter, Montracon and Norwest Vehicle Systems.

The company has extensive interest in Northern Ireland and operates in other regions of the UK in the haulage sector.

The company set up Ballyvesey Holdings Polska in 2005 and its property division has a business park named after the company in Rybnik, Poland.

In February, Montgomery Tankservices won a further two years on a contract with Louth-based chemical company Premier Periclase.
