Security firm G4S is a major employer in Northern Ireland with 1,300 employers. Last year it announced a new £2m contract with George Best Belfast City Airport, where it will carry out duties including searching, customer assistance and car park management over the next three years.
A new entrant to the Top 100, G4S has extensive global aviation expertise, also providing services to City of Derry airport.
The company was formed from the merger of Securicor plc and Group 4 Falck A/S’s security business in July 2004.
G4S plc is a FTSE 100 listed company, and is also listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
