Bank of Ireland has 44 branches and nine business centres in Northern Ireland. Local branches in local communities, served by local staff, with a full range of banking products and services for personal and business customers. Bank of Ireland UK is a wholly-owned UK subsidiary, regulated by the FSA.

Bank of Ireland recently announced it will open a new branch at 1 Donegall Square South, to be known as City Hall Branch. The new branch will open its doors in Spring 2012 and will operate as a full service branch offering a comprehensive suite of banking services for personal and business customers.

The bank’s profits continuing to be hit hard by it’s property loan book but it did manage to cut its pre-tax losses to £279m in 2011 from £480m in 2010.
