Northstone NI is one of Northern Ireland’s leading construction groups. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CRH, (Cement Roadstone Holdings) the global construction material group and the largest trading company in Ireland.

Northstone NI has three divisions. Farrans Construction specialised in public and private infrastructure around the UK. Northstone Materials is a supplier of quarry products, road surfacing, ready mixed concrete, sand and roof tiles. Each division evolved from individual companies, dating back in some cases from the 1940s.

The third, Cubis Industries, manufactures utility access chambers and covers and has a significant overseas market.

Northstone operates in locations across the province and in Cambridge, Edinburgh, Liverpool and Roscommon.
