Newtownabbey-based Northgate Managed Services is part of the Northgate Information Solutions Group, owned by private equity company Kohlberg Kravis Roberts KKR. It a leading IT services company providing cloud-based and infrastructure services to public, private and third sector organisations and specialist managed services in the education, government, utilities & charities sectors.
It has secured a number of new contracts, including a five-year contract with NSPCC to provide a cloud-based ICT managed service and contracts with Blackpool Borough Council, Oldham Council and a number of academies in England to deliver ICT services.
In addition to working with a number of Northern Ireland organisations including Viridian, C2k, Waterways Ireland, United Dairy Farmers and SHS Ltd, Northgate continues to export skills and expertise across the UK to companies such as Wolseley UK Ltd, Doosan Babcock, AAH and NHS Scotland, thus strengthening its position as a leading near-shore IT services provider.
