Headquartered in Tralee, Co Kerry, the Kerry Group is involved in foods ingredients, branded consumer goods, processing and marketing. It supplies products to customers in more than 140 countries, has manufacturing facilities in 19 locations and sales offices in 20 more.
The group opened its first products plant in Listowel in 1922 and is now listed on the Dublin and London stock exchanges.
It has six facilities in Northern Ireland including Henry Denny & sons in Portadown, Dairy Producer Packers in Coleraine and Golden Cow in Craigavon.
In January the company told staff of plans to streamline operations across its food division but denied the move would mean job losses. The restructuring of its divisions is expected to be completed in 2011.
