Kerry Group, which has its headquarters in Tralee, Co Kerry, owns six facilities in Northern Ireland, including Henry Denny & Sons in Portadown, Dairy Producer Packers in Coleraine and Golden Cow in Craigavon.

The group operates in food ingredients, branded consumer goods, processing and marketing. It supplies products to customers in more than 140 countries, has manufacturing facilities in 19 locations and sales offices in 20 more.

The group opened its first products plant in Listowel in 1922 and is now listed on the Dublin and London stock exchanges.

Full-year results announced in February showed a 10% jump in revenues to €5bn (£4.3bn). Trading profit rose to €470m (£406m), an 11.3% increase on the previous year. Its ingredients and flavours division continued to be the main engine of growth.
