NACCO has been making forklifts in Craigavon since 1981, branded under the names Hyster and Yale. Current production levels are around 13,000 forklifts annually.

The American-owned company is the source for engine powered product in the 1.6-5.5 tonne capacity range and, battery powered product in the 1.3-5.5 tonne capacity range. The main markets for the Craigavon produced products are Europe, Middle East and Africa, with around 8% of the output destined for the Asia Pacific and Americas theatres.

The plant is the largest of three NACCO Materials Handling Group plants in Europe.
