Established in Toomebridge, Northern Ireland in 1978, SDC has grown into one of the leading trailer manufacturers in Europe. SDC now manufactures the widest selection of trailers available, designed to meet the needs of our customers.

SDC’s production plants at Toomebridge and Antrim in Northern Ireland and Mansfield in England are amongst the most modern trailer manufacturing facilities in Europe. From its foundation in 1978 the business expanded with the acquisition of Neville Charrold in Nottinghamshire in 1994 and the integration of MDF in 1998.

Since the company purchased SDC Trailers in 1998 from Powerscreen, it has grown dramatically and is now the largest trailer manufacturer in the UK. Retlan was originally a supplier to SDC which began making trailers in Toomebridge in 1978. The group has factories in Toomebridge, Magherafelt, Antrim and Mansfield in England. It also has distribution centres in the UK.
