Viridian also owns Energia which along with conventional electricity is also a retail supplier of renewable electricity and gas across Ireland.

Viridian Power & Energy owns two modern combined cycle gas turbines at Huntstown in Dublin and is developing its renewable energy portfolio through off-take contracts with third party developers together with investment in its own wind farm assets.

Through both arms of the company, Viridian has a 23% share of domestic electrical sales and a 27% share of business energy sales on an all-island basis.
