Powerscreen International, designs and manufactures mobile quarry equipment. From its Dungannon headquarters the company produces a range of more than 50 machines.
Powerscreen was acquired by Terex, the third largest construction machinery manufacturer in the world, in 1999.
At the end of 2009 Powerscreen revealed details of two new nextgeneration crushers to its range and opened a fully operational purposebuilt facility for the manufacturing of tracked and wheeled crushing and screening equipment in Hosur, India.
It sees India as a key growth market. The firm was also granted the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category as international sales have increased by 41% since 2005 and around 84% of total production is sold overseas.
