The company also has an interest in port facilities, animal feeds, computer services and horse breeding.

Rising agricultural commodity prices have contributed to increased company turnover, but underlying business growth remains subdued in this mature market.

Profits increased strongly in the computer services division and there was a significant contribution from asset sales.

Overall in the last year, the company has experienced growth in employment, turnover and profitability.

After the year end the company sold its interest in ICS Computing Ltd to Equiniti Holdings Ltd.
