Diageo is the largest drinks supplier to the licenced trade in Northern Ireland. It produces, distributes and markets some of Ireland’s best-known premium drinks including Guinness, Bushmills, Baileys, Smirnoff and Harp Lager.
Diageo’s operations in Northern Ireland include a £40.5m state-of-the-art Baileys facility for worldwide export at Mallusk, the Old Bushmills Distillery in Co Antrim, a canning and bottling plant at Castlereagh and its sales and marketing division at Boucher Road in Belfast.
Each year, Diageo sponsors over 200 festivals and events in Northern Ireland and has supported a diverse range of local charities over the past 18 years with financial assistance through its Community Awards scheme. It also partners with Belfast Visitor and Convention Bureau and the Northern Ireland Tourist Board to support the continued marketing of Northern Ireland as a tourist destination.
