Since opening its first store here nearly 16 years ago, it now has 13 supermarkets in the province.

Former Strand Road Derry/Londonderry store manager Nigel Macaulay took over the role of Regional Operations Manager in 2011.

Total employment in Northern Ireland has held steady at 3,000 over the last year while turnover is estimated to have climbed by about £15m.

For the group as a whole, like-for-like sales climbed 2.1% on the year while customer transactions jumped by 800,000.
