Progressive is Northern Ireland’s largest locallyowned mortgage lender and offers traditional mortgage and savings products through its network of 12 offices located in major population centres. More than 50 agents of the Society provide savings services to many smaller communities across the Province. Throughout the recent turmoil in the financial markets Progressive has remained a safe haven for savers’ funds and the Society posted inflows, close to record levels, again in 2009. It is one of very few local financial institutions able to announce that it has remained profitable throughout the banking crisis.

The Society is regulated by the Financial Services Authority and is a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. The company has in the past year run a successful advertising tie in with UTV weather.
