An Ulster software company has won major contracts with two Dutch firms.
Belfast-based Serpico Software said the contracts, worth about £150,000, will enable clients to automate software testing, eliminating the need for manual testers.
The company sells almost all of its specialised software products outside of the province and said the role of Northern Ireland Trade Consultants (NITC) had been crucial to the deals.
Managing director Robbie McConnell praised the consultants, Invest NI's trade advisers in Amsterdam.
"NITC helped us to set up interviews and make presentations at about 20 leading companies in the Netherlands," he explained.
"As a result of this expert assistance, we subsequently signed contracts with two of the companies and are in discussions with a number of others. Overall, the support and guidance we received was very beneficial."
Mr McConnell said the firm was on a sound footing in the competitive technology sector.
"Our business strategy is based firmly on providing a solution to our clients that delivers previously unseen testing benefits.
"Delivering these new benefits enables us to compete with and beat the global leader in our market," he said.
The deals with two unnamed companies involved Serpico's ProductTester, which can increase productivity by 40%.
Serpico has received venture capital finance and equity funding from Invest NI.
