The Belfast bureau of Bloomberg, founded by New York mayor and businessman Michael Bloomberg, will be its third office in the UK.

Bloomberg’s Reto Gregori said: “The addition of a Belfast news bureau reflects Bloomberg's commitment to provide the most thorough real-time news and data to our customers around the world.

Chris Collins, Bloomberg’s managing editor in Europe, said: “Bloomberg's exceptional multimedia beat system, combined with our local-language news delivery across the globe, allows Bloomberg journalists to cover issues in depth and on site.”
