Park Road closure warning

NI Water warns residents in the Park Road area that the road will be closed next week to facilitate the upgrading of the water supply infrastructure in the Ormeau Road area.

“Park Road will be closed to through traffic from its junction with the Ormeau Road to its junction with the Ravenhill Road from 14th February for approximately four weeks,” said a spokesperson.

“A diversion will be available via the Ormeau Road and the Ravenhill Road. Access will be maintained for local residents and emergency traffic.”

The work, carried out by contractor Farrans Utilities will dramatically improve the service and reduce leakage, says NI Water, which has vowed to keep any disruption to a minimum.

NI Water’s customer relations team can be contacted on 08457 440088 quoting Farrans Utilities water mains rehabilitation programme.
