Clarins launches new range to keep skin soft

If you're worried about keeping your skin soft and supple this winter, read on.

This week Clarins launched its new Gentle Exfoliating range, which promises to keep skin fresh, youthful and glowing.

And the brand still encourages users to follow the advice of founder Jacques Courtin-Clarins.

Back in 1974, as he launched the brand’s Gentle Facial Peeling product, he said: “Regularly exfoliate skin and wrinkles will not set in.”

The Gentle Peeling Smooth Away cream (£23) has been a Clarins best seller ever since.

The silky-smooth, deep-cleansing, clay-based cream absorbs and removes dead skin cells and other surface impurities to restore a radiant complexion.

Now Clarins has developed two other high performance exfoliators.

The Gentle Exfoliator Brightening toner (£23) is a fresh, fluid exfoliating lotion that brightens, smoothes and softens the skin.

It offers a fast, easy, way to exfoliate, using gentle fruit acids — all you have to do is apply it with a cotton pad to remove impurities that give skin a dull appearance.

The Gentle Refiner Exfoliating cream with microbeads (50ml £23) is a rich cream, formulated with two types of microbeads — one exfoliating, the other refining.

This highly effective combination lifts off all impurities and buffs away dead skin cells, unblocking pores and smoothing the skin's surface.

The new Clarins Gentle Exfoliating range, priced from £23, is available from Clarins counters now across Belfast and the rest of the province.

Why do we treat cyber crime so harshly, yet let thugs off lightly?

Andy Warhol famously predicted that there would come a time when everybody would be famous for 15 minutes. I have a counter-theory. There may come a time when everyone will be private for 15 minutes.

It's not just working class who are stuck in sectarian bunkers

There is a grim irony in DUP and Sinn Fein politicians warning about the dangers of sectarianism but Jonathan Bell and Martina Anderson were correct in saying that bigotry isn't just a working-class thing: "Many communities may not paint their kerb stones or put out flags, but scratch the surface and you find the prejudice and the hate whispered behind closed doors or joked about in golf clubs or over dinner parties."
