Revive tired party eyes

The perfect product to revive tired eyes, dark circles and expression lines after the party season has arrived in Northern Ireland.

It's an anti-ageing eye cream from Nuxe, a Parisian plant-based skincare brand, and it's called Nirvanesque Eye Contour cream.

It has been formulated to provide an instant anti-wrinkle effect, so it's ideal if you're suffering from the excesses of Christmas and the New Year parties and late nights.

Suitable for those aged 25 years and older, its corrective pigments — blue lotus seeds, mallow root and poppy seeds — work by reducing muscle contractions.

The cream is a new addition to the Nuxe Nirvanesque skincare range, the plant-based solution to the first sign of wrinkles, that is made without nasty chemical preservatives called parabens.

And it's only available from leading pharmacies across the province.

The cream works on three levels.

It goes to work on expression lines, offers an immediate smoothing effect and provides an instant erasing of dark circles.

Its star ingredients include hyaluronic acid, to fill fine lines and wrinkles, and amaranth to smooth the skin so you'll look rested.

And pigment correctors work instantly on dark circles, masking blemishes and leaving you looking radiant.

It's suitable for all skin types and men can use it too, as can contact lens wearers.

You can find Nuxe in Belfast at Medicare, Forestside, and in Bangor at Menarys.

It's also available online at www.salonskincare.com and www.lifeandlooks.com.

Why do we treat cyber crime so harshly, yet let thugs off lightly?

Andy Warhol famously predicted that there would come a time when everybody would be famous for 15 minutes. I have a counter-theory. There may come a time when everyone will be private for 15 minutes.

It's not just working class who are stuck in sectarian bunkers

There is a grim irony in DUP and Sinn Fein politicians warning about the dangers of sectarianism but Jonathan Bell and Martina Anderson were correct in saying that bigotry isn't just a working-class thing: "Many communities may not paint their kerb stones or put out flags, but scratch the surface and you find the prejudice and the hate whispered behind closed doors or joked about in golf clubs or over dinner parties."
