Pick yourself up after a bad McFall

Leah McFall might not have won BBC1 talent show The Voice on Saturday – being pipped to the top spot by fellow Northern Irish contestant Andrea Begley – but far from being despondent, the north Belfast girl, "can't wait for what's coming next."

Despite putting in a stellar performance throughout the live final of the show, including a unique reworking of Nancy Sinatra's 'Bang Bang' with mentor Will.i.am, the telephone vote failed to conform to bookies' predictions, leaving Leah in second place.

However, fans need not worry as Leah is believed to be on the verge of signing a record deal – she should be a dead cert having already featured at number 3 in the iTunes chart with her version of 'I Will Survive'.

Leah expressed her excitement for the future on her facebook page, writing: "Thank you so much for all your support during this show!! It's been the most incredible few months! Can't wait for what's coming next ahhh."
