Ards figures ‘disappointing’

“WHILE some of the individual reported crime categories have continued to show a decrease and an increase in the detection rate is always to be welcomed, it is disappointing to see the overall figure for Ards rise by just over six percent in 2009-2010, particularly when the trend in recent years has been downward,” said chairman of Ards DPP, Councillor Angus Carson.
