Two arrests after robbery

Two teenagers have been arrested following an armed robbery in Killinchy.

At approximately 10.30pm on Wednesday, July 14, two men entered a shop on the Comber Road.

Both were wearing balaclavas and gloves, and one had a hammer in his possession.

They took a sum of cash before making off.

The two men arrested, aged 18 and 19, are currently assisting police with their inquiries.

Police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to this incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000.

Information about crime can also be passed anonymously to the Crimestopper charity on 0800 555 111.
