Harvesting the sounds of late summer

Villagers are headlining the first ever Harvest Music Festival in Ards on Saturday, August 31, from 2-11pm.

The event, taking place on the picturesque Grey Abbey House estate will also feature live sets from Hayseed Dixie, Duke Special, Farriers, Gareth Dunlop and the Belfast Community Gospel Choir.

The festival, planned by Ards Borough Council, is a family-friendly event, with under 12s getting to go free. An enchanted garden will entertain and amaze and a bazaar area will include a festival bar, food avenue and craft village, with magic shows, circus skills, and face painting for kids.

Tickets (£20) are on sale now from www.ards-council.gov.uk/What-s-On/Harvest-Music-Festival.
