Abseil down Europa Hotel for charity

Northern Ireland Hospice is appealing to daredevils from across North Down and Ards to join them for an abseil at the Europa Hotel, Belfast, this September.

Participants are asked to raise a minimum of £120 sponsorship for the event, which takes place on September 13, and will go towards providing care to adults, children and young people across Northern Ireland with life limiting and life threatening illnesses such as cancer, heart disease and genetic disorders.

Deirdre Melly from Northern Ireland Hospice said: “We have plenty of spaces available for the abseil in September and would urge people from all over Northern Ireland to come join us.

“With limited government funding, the money raised on the day will make a real difference to our work providing specialist respite and end of life care to patients across Northern Ireland.”

Interested participants are being asked to contact the fundraising office on 028 90 781 836 to secure their place.
