Donaghadee choir get ready for contest

The final polish is now being applied to Donaghadee Male Voice Choir who will soon compete in the fourth British International Male Voice Festival.

The event, which takes place in Truro, Cornwall, from April 30 to May 5, will see fifty-five choirs from throughout the UK and Europe take part in the competition.

While at the festival, the choir will also perform concerts in Truro Cathedral, the Eden Project, Saint Andrew’s Redruth, in Falmouth and a Finale International Gala Concert in Truro’s Hall in Cornwall.

Meanwhile, the choir season will draw to a close with concerts for Kilmaine Primary School PTA on May 14 and the Mayor’s charity concert on May 23 in Hamilton Road Presbyterian Church where Swindon Male Voice Choir will be a guest.
