Regent House Youthspeak title for pupil

A pupil at Regent House School has taken the top title for ‘environmental talking’ at this year’s Northern Ireland Environmental Youthspeak competition.

Isaac Johnston, a Year 8 pupil at the school, was one of over 1,000 pupils from right across Northern Ireland who took part in the event, which is designed to encourage young people to become more aware of the environment by debating environmental issues.

He received a wind-up radio and a specially designed trophy made from recycled materials such as mobile phones and wellington boots as a prize for his performance.
