A teenager from Finaghy is urging young people to have their voices heard by joining her on a youth panel.

Claire Moss, 17, is calling on young people to join the panel in helping the Northern Ireland Commissioner for Children and Young People, Patricia Lewsley, in her work.

One of the main functions of the panel is to help advise and assist the commissioner in safeguarding and promoting the rights and best interests of children and young people.

Claire has been a member of the Northern Ireland Commission for Children and Young People’s (NICCY) Youth Panel since April 2005.
