Police in south Belfast are preparing to extend the hand of friendship to football fans when Poland take on Northern Ireland in a World Cup qualifying match this Saturday (March 28).

The tie is to be played at Windsor Park, kicking off at 5.15pm.

A high level of interest surrounds this game and police are anticipating the fixture will be well attended.

Police want local football fans and those travelling from abroad to enjoy a safe, trouble-free night.
