A new craze swept Belfast last summer, softball!

It is similar to baseball and is for men and women and girls of different ages and fitness levels.

Last summer was the first season for Belfast Softball Club, with the Belfast Brawlers capping off a successful inaugural season by capturing the Softball Ireland Bowl competition in Dublin.

The club is inviting anyone who may be interested in the sport to its open on day on Sunday (March 30) from 1.30pm-4pm at Henry Jones Playing Fields, Castlereagh.

Come try out the sport — no experience or money is required — you just have to be over 18 and bring some trainers.
