Mo Mowlam Play Park closed temporarily

Stormont Executive press release - Department of Finance and Personnel

The Mo Mowlam Play Park at Stormont will be closed until further notice whilst essential repair work is undertaken.

An urgent contract has been put in place to replace the play surfaces and the Department is doing everything in its power to have this work completed as quickly as possible.

Over the past fortnight the condition of the play surfaces in the park has deteriorated rapidly due to increased usage and recent unseasonal weather.

We realise that this is a very popular amenity and can only apologise for the inconvenience this will cause particularly at this time of year, however, the health, safety, and welfare of park users must take utmost priority at all times.

A further note will issue once the park has re-opened.
