Northern Ireland's first Chinese politician has vowed not to be deterred by racists after abuse was posted about her on a high-profile website.

Northern Irish politicians who lost their seats in last week's Assembly election will not go away empty-handed. Departing MLAs are in line for a 'resettlement allowance' of some £15,900 each, plus 'winding-up' expenses of up to £16,000 per person.
