Mixed result for masterclass

Scott Capurro's Position, Elmwood Hall

Scott Capurro's position on Saturday night wasn't so much a stand-up comedy gig as a live TV-style chat show.

The outspoken comedian was joined by fellow comic David Mills and they proceeded to interview guests Andrew Boyle and Gemma Garrett (Gerry Anderson and Ian Paisley Jnr had apparently dropped out).

Highlight, though was the interview with Colin Murray. What started out as a straight interview morphed into a masterclass on how to win a room. This was Capurro's second time at the festival and one can only hope the lukewarm reception won't put him off returning.

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Taurus:

A home improvement project will be stalled or called off altogether. The situation is frustrating, but it can't be helped. Instead of dwelling on your disappointment, turn your attention to more rewarding pursuits. Working on an unusual creative project fills you with excitement. Don't show the fruits of your labour to anyone just now. You'll go through several drafts before you're happy with the result. At that point, you can show off your handiwork. Prepare to receive warm praise for your exceptional talent.More
