Co Down comedian Ryan Hand to co-host new ITV show
Co Down comedian and presenter Ryan Hand is set to co-host new ITV primetime show Cannonball, alongside Freddie Flintoff and Frankie Bridge.
The Newcastle native shared the news on his Twitter account, telling followers: "Finally get to announce some exciting news! Going to be one of the presenters on ITV's new Saturday night show Canonball."
Ryan is currently in Malta filming the series, which has been described as a 'water-based obstacle game show'.
Freddie will act as the programme's main host, while Ryan, Frankie, and fellow presenters Radzi Chinyanganya and Maya Jama will take on the role of 'poolside reporters'.

Each week the show will see 24 contestants face water-based challenges focused on speed, accuracy, height and distance.
Ryan is no stranger to television having previously worked as the warm up act on lunchtime panel show Loose Women.
A few years ago the presenter also worked at the BBC in Belfast before moving to London in 2016 to pursue his dreams.

Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph last year, Ryan said of his rising career: "Every day I have to pinch myself to make sure it's all real.
"My life goal has always been to have a career in showbiz, as a television or radio presenter because I just love being on a stage and entertaining people."
