Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke's slip injures hip
Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke has finally revealed why she has been unable to walk without crutches.
The 28-year-old British actress is currently promoting her new movie Terminator: Genisys.
But she is best known as Daenerys Targaryen, the mother of dragons in HBO's hit fantasy drama filmed in Northern Ireland.
There has been plenty of speculation about how she ended up hobbling around, but the truth was more mundane.
"I've got a stress fracture on my hip," she told Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw. "I want to say it was like from Parkour or something but in reality I just slipped - it was really boring, but by the end of the Press tour I'm going to come up with the sickest story."
