James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan disarmed at airport
Former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan was stopped by airport security as he tried to board a plane with a knife.
The 62-year-old was stopped by US Transportation Security Administration agents with the blade, reportedly a 10-inch hunting knife, in his hand luggage. The knife was confiscated.
He was allowed to continue through Burlington International Airport in Vermont after the issue was resolved, according to the local police department.
US airport rules state that sharp objects such as knives, box cutters and scissors longer than four inches must be stored in checked baggage.
It is understood that Brosnan was travelling with his teenage son Paris.
