Aaron Eckhart lands horror role

Aaron Eckhart will star in Incarnate

Aaron Eckhart is set to star in a new horror film from the producers of the Insidious and Paranormal Activity movies.

The Olympus Has Fallen actor will play an exorcist in Incarnate, Blumhouse Productions' next horror film franchise, reported Deadline.

The low-budget film will follow the unconventional exorcist, who can tap into the subconscious of the possessed people he tries to help.

But he "meets his match when a nine-year-old boy is possessed by a demon from his past".

Incarnate will be directed by Brad Peyton and is due to start shooting in November.

Aaron will next be seen in I, Frankenstein, which will be released in early 2014.

Nobody expects perfection, especially at this stage of the game. The more gentle you are with yourself, the easier it will be to master this role.
