Aaron Johnson is tipped to star in Bryan Singer's new action fantasy Jack The Giant Killer.
The Usual Suspects director has been given the green light by Warner Bros to remake the 1962 movie based on the fairytale of Jack And The Beanstalk.
And Deadline reports Bryan is a big fan of Aaron's after seeing him in comic book caper Kick-Ass and Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy.
But studio New Line are apparently seeing a lot of other young actors for the part.
The film will be a dark re-telling of the well known fable, about a poor young man who tricks a giant in order to steal from him.
The original script was written by Darren Lemke and Mark Bomback - but while the visual effects work was being prepared for the production, New Line brought in Christopher McQuarrie, who wrote The Usual Suspects, to fine tune the script.
