Adams: I'm not in The Muppets 2

Amy Adams won't return for a second Muppet adventure

Amy Adams has confirmed that she will not be in The Muppets sequel.

The Oscar-nominated actress starred as Mary in The Muppets with Jason Segel (screen boyfriend Gary), Kermit The Frog and Miss Piggy, and revealed she was "never approached" to reprise her role in the upcoming follow-up.

"No I'm not. I don't know why I'm not involved - I was never approached," she said.

"I think the story takes us beyond Mary and Gary and now the Muppets are back together. I don't know anything about the new one. I wish them great success because they're a really great group."

Amy, who currently stars in Paul Thomas Anderson's drama The Master, is also rumoured to reprise her role as Princess Giselle in Enchanted 2, but she said: "I don't know anything. It doesn't mean that it's not happening, just that I don't know about it."

The 38-year-old, who will play Lois Lane in Zack Snyder's Superman reboot Man Of Steel, is excited to start work on the Janis Joplin biopic, in which she portrays the late rock and roll singer.

"It's in development but hopefully it will start sometime this year," she said.

Gemini:

You never do anything in moderation. Attend every fun party, accept every juicy offer and try all the delectable treats spread before you. Avoid unpleasant people and activities like the plague. This should be a time of enjoyment. Leave your list of chores at home. You can always attend to these jobs at another time. If you have a chance to show your creative work to a publisher, manager or agent, go ahead. This is also a great opportunity to go on job interviews, auditions and first dates.More
