Affleck set for political comedy?
Ben Affleck could be entering the political arena - for a film role.
The Town actor is apparently attached to star in political comedy Nathan Decker, according to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog.
The light-hearted role, which Tom Cruise was previously linked to, would see Ben play an adulterous politician, who decides to return to his hometown to confront his past.
A director has yet to be found to take control of the movie, which has been written by Crazy, Stupid, Love screenwriter Dan Fogelman.
Ben - who is quite an active political campaigner for the US Democrats - is currently finishing post-production on his political war thriller Argo, which he directed and stars in, and is set to start work on Stephen King's The Stand.
