Alice Eve is in talks to star opposite John Cusack in The Raven.
The She's Out Of My League star is set to play the fiancee of writer Edgar Allan Poe (played by Cusack), who gets kidnapped by a serial killer, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Tamara Drewe star Luke Evans may also appear in the film, after starting negotiations to replace Jeremy Renner, who had to pull out after the schedule clashed with that of Mission: Impossible 4.
He will play a detective who joins forces with Poe to search for the killer, who is on a spree that mimics the author's work.
The film will be directed by James McTeigue and begins shooting on October 25, with Budapest and Serbia standing in for 1849 Baltimore.
