Ant-Man movie date brought forward

Paul Rudd has the title role in the Ant-Man film

Paul Rudd's eagerly anticipated Ant-Man movie will now open earlier than planned.

The Marvel film was due to be released on July 31, 2015, but it has been announced that it has been brought forwards to July 17, according to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog.

The superhero movie is moving into the slot once held by the Batman vs Superman film, which has now been pushed back to May 6, 2016.

Ant-Man will now be up against Warner Bros' Peter Pan origins movie Pan, starring Hugh Jackman, which will be unveiled at the same time.

Paul will play the title role of Scott Lang - a thief who becomes superhero Ant-Man.

Michael Douglas will play scientist Henry 'Hank' Pym in the film, which will be directed by Edgar Wright.

There's often a good reason why a person has a bad reputation. If anyone dares accuse you of being selfish, stay strong. You have a right to use your hard earned money for your own benefit.More
