Apatow boards Train Wreck film
Judd Apatow is set to direct new comedy Train Wreck.
The movie could become the first film Judd directs that he hasn't written himself, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
US comedienne Amy Schumer is already on board to star in the Universal movie as a "basket case" who tries to rebuild her life.
The 32-year-old will also write the script for the film.
Judd was originally announced as a producer on the movie.
He's reportedly been meeting actors in Los Angeles to find Amy's co-stars for the roles of a boyfriend, best friend or work colleague and a parent.
The 45-year-old, who most recently took the reins on Knocked Up spin-off This Is 40 and is one of the producers on Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, has also directed Funny People and The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
