Assange story to be told on screen
Plans are underway for a new feature film about WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
The movie will be based on Andrew Fowler's biography of the controversial figure, The Most Dangerous Man in the World, which hasn't reached bookshops yet.
The Australian reporter first interviewed the 39-year-old last May, and his investigative tome is due out later this year.
Josephson Entertainment and Michelle Krumm Productions have jointly optioned the film rights.
Meanwhile Assange - who founded the whistle-blowing website in 2006 - remains in London, where he is battling extradition to Sweden over sex-crime allegations.
